    TinyRocket Labs ("we", "our", or "us") operates the VectorLint platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our Service.

    1. Information We Collect

    We may collect information about you in the following ways when you use the Service:

    • Personal Data: When you register for an account or contact us, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, and GitHub username.
    • Usage Data: We may collect information about your interaction with our Service, including the features you use, the time and duration of your activities, and other diagnostic data.
    • Content Data: When you use VectorLint to audit documentation, we process metadata about your content such as file names, word counts, and repository information necessary to perform evaluations. Your documentation content is processed solely to deliver linting and analysis results. Content Data is handled securely and is not used to train AI models without your explicit consent.

    2. How We Use Your Information

    We use the information we collect to:

    • Provide, operate, and maintain our Service
    • Improve, personalize, and expand our Service
    • Communicate with you for customer service, updates, and information relating to the Service
    • Process your transactions and manage your account
    • Find and prevent fraud

    3. Analytics and Tracking

    VectorLint is currently in public beta. We do not currently use analytics or tracking tools on our website or within the Service. We plan to introduce analytics tools (such as PostHog or similar services) to better understand how the Service is used and to improve the product experience. When analytics are introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect the specific tools in use and the data they collect. Your continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

    4. Third-Party Services

    We rely on the following third-party services to operate VectorLint:

    • Supabase (authentication, database, and storage) - supabase.com/privacy
    • Vercel (website hosting) - vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
    • LLM Providers (content evaluation processing) - When you use VectorLint, your Content Data may be sent to third-party large language model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) to perform evaluations. Only the content necessary to produce linting results is transmitted. We do not permit these providers to use your data for model training.

    These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

    5. Data Storage and Location

    Your account data, evaluation results, and related metadata are stored on AWS infrastructure via Supabase in the East US (North Virginia) region. Content submitted for evaluation is processed transiently by our VectorLint Service and is not persisted on our servers beyond the evaluation session.

    6. Data Retention and Deletion

    We retain your Personal Data and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, contact us at jay@vectorlint.dev and we will process your request within 30 days. Upon account deletion, we will remove your Personal Data and evaluation history from our systems, except where retention is required by law.

    7. Data Security

    We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    8. Data Breach Notification

    In the event of a data breach that compromises your Personal Data, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. The notification will include a description of the breach, the types of data affected, and the steps we are taking in response.

    9. Your Rights

    You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Personal Data at any time by contacting us at jay@vectorlint.dev. If you are located in a jurisdiction that grants additional data protection rights (such as the EU under GDPR or California under CCPA), we will honor those rights in accordance with applicable law.

    10. Children's Privacy

    VectorLint is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

    11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
